27 Days to Go! Magic Bands...in Action!

I am super stoked about our Magic Bands. These are still considered in the testing phase and they only have certain resorts equipped with RFID room access. On top of that, they randomly select customers to be able to try them out. I'm super excited we get to use them!

While Disney is focusing on the essentials (room access, park access, Fastpass and Fastpass + and of course....purchases!) the sky is the limit for how these can be used. There's talk of being able to let characters see your name, know your birthday and who you are with. This will allow for many amazing character interaction moments! There's also discussions about restaurants knowing you have arrived for your reservation. The part I'm really excited about is personalizations of ride! Let's say you are on It's a Small World (for the hundredth time) and you get to the end. One of the postcards might pop up with a personalized message for your family! On the other hand, think about Test Track and the ability for the car to be able to talk back to you! Crazy amazing!
