Countdown to the Light Side: 1 Day to Go!

It's finally here! Are you ready??

A few packing reminders:
1) Bring a couple pairs of sneakers. Lots of walking in Disneyland! Even though Disneyland is smaller (and we aren't running a challenge), we still will be covering a bunch of ground.

2) Weather looks like it's going to be a consistent temperature in the 60's for the high and lows in the upper 50's/lower 40's. It looks like its going to rain right before we get there and the rest of the stay looks spotty so bring a rain jacket! Make sure you bring a heavier jacket for nights, unless you want to add to your "bought at Disney" collection.

3) Don't leave your costume at home!

4) Running Gear: Fuel belts, headphones, sunglasses, etc. Oh, and don't leave your socks at home!

I have tickets, waivers, hotel vouchers and coupons with me.

See you in Disney!

Countdown to the Light Side: 7 Days to Go!

Hi everyone! Congrats on making it to the final week before our trip to Disneyland!

This trip, we are going to be staying at the Grand Californian! I cannot wait!

This hotel is truly at the center of it all. It has the monorail. It has special entrances to Downtown Disney and Disney's California Adventure Parks. It's pools are unique and the dining is incredible!

Did I mention it's an easy walk to and from the race? YES!

But don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself!
